MineralBoost Bovatec 20CC®

Improve animal performance through a reduction in ketosis, bloat and increased milk solids.

Description

MineralBoost Bovatec 20CC® is an ionophore. These compounds are classed as rumen modifiers which improve animal performance by enhancing the activities of the beneficial rumen microflora. Bovatec can be used for the prevention of Ketosis and bloat.

Bovatec ® 20CC, a registered product under the ACVM Act 1997, A9679.

Nutritional Benefits

MineralBoost Bovatec 20CC® contains the ionophore, Lasalocid to improve animal performance through a reduction in ketosis, bloat and increased milk solids.

Bovatec 20CC® works by altering the population of micro-organisms in the rumen, increasing propionic acid and reducing methane. This increases the efficiency of feed conversion into milk.

The rumen dispersible granule is a patented delivery technology designed to exhibit the benefits of a granule during mixing and freight (less dust, less segregation, less waste), while dispersing into super-fine powder once inside the rumen - providing a very convenient method of adding essential nutrients to an animal's diet.

Cattle Feed Storage on Farm

As with any grain or meal feed products need to be kept dry as moisture combined with heat can cause fungi to grow. Common on farm storage methods are: in a shed or unused fertiliser bin; in a covered pit; on a concrete pad; or in a cutting, covered with plastic sheet and tyres. Most feed should be used reasonably expediently (within 40 - 50 days). The longer you plan to store feed products the better your storage facilities need to be.
